December 1, 2025 in a historic gathering at the UK Parliament, Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan (UK) presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Ms. Narpinder Mann BEM, Director of UNITED HUMANITARIAN SIKH AID (UK). UNITED SIKHS, headquartered in NYC, runs its operations in the UK under United Humanitarian Sikh Aid.
The ceremony coincided with commemorations of Guru Nanak Dev’s Gurpurab and the 350th Shaheedi Samagam of Guru Tegh Bahadur, drawing parliamentarians, Sikh leaders, and community advocates together in a shared celebration of faith and service.
The event was graced by the presence of Tanmanjeet Dhesi MP, Gurinder Josan CBE MP, Bob Blackman CBE MP, and Warinder Juss, whose participation highlighted the importance of Sikh representation and solidarity within Parliament.
The award recognises Ms. Mann’s decades of humanitarian leadership with UNITED SIKHS mobilizing global coalitions, defending civil rights, and advancing the Sikh principle of seva (selfless service).
