In order ro ensure transparent services to the people in the Sewa Kendras, the specially designed boards displaying the facilitation charges will be installed outside the Sewa Kendras.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma said that these boards will be installed in the coming days at prominent places outside 34 Sewa Kendras of the district besides facilitation charges of 257 services, rate of application forms, number of working days and other necessary details will be displayed.
Mr Sharma said that this attempt will facilitate the public visiting the Sewa Kendra and they will have accurate information about the charges.
He told that the complaints of overcharging were received in the past months and action was also taken against the erring Sewa Kendras.
The Deputy Commissioner told that Sewa Kendras have been opened by the state government to facilitate the people and any sort of laxity on their parts would not be tolerated at any cost.
Mr Sharma said that officials are also carrying out inspections of the working of Sewa Kendras to ensure hassle-free services and settle in a time-bound manner without any inconvenience to the people.
DC said that zero-tolerance policy is being adopted against any sort of inordinate delay by the Sewa Kendras and stern action would be taken against management of Sewa Kendra.
The Deputy Commissioner also said that there must not be any pendency of the applications in the Sewa Kendra.
