Akali Dal “Waris Punjab De” has appointed Balraj Singh Bhathal (Jagraon) as the national president of its IT wing, giving him a key organisational responsibility.
The appointment was approved through a letter issued by the party headquarters late in the evening. Party office secretary Pargat Singh Mianwind said Bhathal had been entrusted with the responsibility of taking the party’s policies to people across the country and further strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level.
Bhathal thanked the party’s high command for reposing confidence in him and said he would discharge the responsibility with complete dedication. He said he would make every possible effort to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Bhathal also thanked party president Bhai Amritpal Singh Khalsa for the appointment. He expressed special gratitude to Bapu Tarseem Singh, Sardar Manpreet Singh Iyali, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Khalsa and Bhai Mandeep Singh Sidhu for the confidence placed in him.
The appointment comes as part of the party’s efforts to strengthen its organisational structure and communication network through its IT wing.
