Arjuna Awardee (2024) and Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Simranjeet Singh has joined as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Patti and Bhikhiwind in Tarn Taran district.
The ace hockey forward, who also won a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games, was appointed to the Punjab Civil Services (PCS) Executive cadre by the Punjab Government after his Olympic achievement in Tokyo 2020.
After proudly representing India on international turfs, Simranjeet Singh is now set to serve the people of Punjab with the same commitment, dedication, and discipline.
“I am grateful for this opportunity and remain committed to working for the development and welfare of the people of Patti and Bhikhiwind,” said the Olympian-turned-administrator.
