Patiala, February 9, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab incharge and MLA from Delhi, Jarnail Singh on Tuesday campaigned for the AAP candidates in Patran and Samana in Patiala district for the upcoming municipal bodies’ elections. Jarnail Singh appealed to the people to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party candidate for urban development and to eradicate corruption in local bodies’.

He said that the people of Punjab had been giving opportunity to the SAD-BJP and Congress for the development of their region, city and village but these parties had backstabbed the people. “These traditional parties have filled their own homes by betraying the people. People have lost faith in these parties and now they have faith in the Aam Aadmi Party,” he added.

Jarnail Singh said that the people had handed over power to Badal, Captain, but their poor policies had drowned Punjab. He said that during the SAD-BJP government, all sorts of ‘mafias’ were rampant in Punjab and to stop this, the people handed over the power to Captain, but Captain himself became the kingpin of these ‘mafias’, under whose patronage, all these illegal activities were running in the state.

He said the only change was that now the commission goes to Captain, the Congress leaders and their cronies, instead of the Badals. He further said that a recent survey conducted by a media group had exposed the reality of Captain Amarinder Singh.

“According to the survey, Captain Amarinder Singh’s government has proved to be the most useless government ever. Captain is acting as a lazy Chief Minister and has no idea about the situation in the state. The surprising thing was that the Punjab government was being run by a retired officer of the state and Captain Amarinder Singh himself was resting in his posh farmhouse,” he added.

Jarnail Singh said that people of Punjab never wanted a regime in which mafia rule prevailed. The AAP leader said that today Congress ministers, leaders and their cronies were filling their coffers by looting the property of the state.

He said that the law and order situation in Punjab was completely ruined. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has brought a ray of hope for the people of Punjab. “People have lost faith in traditional parties and have trust only in AAP, which can live up to the expectations of the people of Punjab,” he added.

He said that the people would oust SAD, BJP and Congress in the coming elections and form the Aam Aadmi Party government. He said that with the formation of the AAP government in Punjab, the model of Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi would be implemented in Punjab.
