After the intervention of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes’ Commission, Firozpur Police has finally filed the Challan against three persons in the case pertaining to the abduction of two minor girls in Ferozepur district.
Disclosing this here today, Mr. Gyan Chand Diwali, Member of Punjab State Scheduled Castes’ Commission said that the father of the victim girls has approached the SC Commission and filed a written complaint that the opposite party was constantly exerting pressure on him to strike a compromise in this case and not to pursue this case any further.
The SC Commission took serious cognizance of this case and has summoned detailed report on this issue from the SSP Ferozepur. He said that now the SSP Ferozepur has submitted its report to the Commission.
According to the report the police has completed the investigation in this case and filed challan in the court against three persons namely, Jinder Singh S/O Tarsim Singh, Karamjit Singh S/o Baldev Singh and Ashu S/o Jinder.
