The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the charge of the Sangrur Municipal Council. The party successfully elected its representatives to key positions. On Saturday, AAP Councillor Bhupinder Singh was elected as President with an absolute majority, Preet Jain as Senior Vice President, and Krishan Lal as Vice President.
AAP Punjab President Aman Arora congratulated the three newly elected office bearers and reiterated the Mann government’s commitment to the development of Sangrur. He assured that the President, Vice Presidents, and all councillors would work tirelessly for the development of Sangrur and prioritize resolving local issues.
Arora emphasized that the new leadership of the Sangrur Municipal Council would accelerate development projects in the region. He also assured full financial and other support from the government to ensure that there are no hurdles in implementing these projects.
The strong presence of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Municipal Council has once again demonstrated the growing public support for the party in Sangrur district.
