The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Friday continued its ‘Mann De Munaffe’ door-to-door campaign across several Assembly constituencies, presenting what the party described as the four-and-a-half-year report card of the Bhagwant Mann government and highlighting the benefits of its welfare schemes.
AAP MLAs and constituency in-charges conducted outreach in Guru Har Sahai, Firozpur Rural, Rupnagar, Ludhiana North, Amloh, Shahkot, Balachaur, Amritsar East, Kharar and Dasuya. The campaign involved direct interaction with residents and discussions on government schemes and initiatives.
MLA Fauja Singh Sarari led the campaign in Guru Har Sahai, while Advocate Rajnish Dahiya conducted outreach in Firozpur Rural and Dinesh Chadha in Rupnagar. Madan Lal Bagga led the campaign in Ludhiana North and Gurinder Singh Gary in Amloh. In Shahkot, constituency in-charge Balbir Singh Pala Jalalpuria met residents, while Santosh Kataria conducted the campaign in Balachaur, Jeevan Jyot Kaur in Amritsar East, Parminder Singh Goldy in Kharar and Karmbir Singh Ghuman in Dasuya.
During the outreach, AAP leaders highlighted schemes including free electricity, Aam Aadmi Clinics, government education initiatives and the Maavan-Dheeyan Satkar Yojana. They also discussed the government’s work in healthcare, education, employment and other areas.
The party said the campaign is focused on presenting the government’s work directly to households rather than merely discussing political promises. AAP leaders highlighted the financial value of various schemes and claimed that the combined annual benefit to a family can reach ₹1.82 lakh. The same ₹1.82-lakh figure has been cited by AAP during earlier phases of the ‘Mann De Munaffe’ campaign.
The campaign also focused on the government’s claims regarding zero electricity bills for eligible households, expanded access to healthcare through Aam Aadmi Clinics and improvements in government education. AAP leaders said these measures have helped reduce household expenditure.
According to the party, residents welcomed the leaders during the door-to-door interactions, discussed the schemes available to them and shared their experiences of government services. The source material says some residents expressed support for the work of the Bhagwant Mann government and a desire for its continuation.
The ‘Mann De Munaffe’ campaign forms part of AAP’s broader political outreach ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly election, with the party taking its assessment of the government’s record directly to voters.
AAP leaders said the campaign would continue across Punjab, with party representatives taking the government’s four-and-a-half-year report card to more households and explaining the benefits the party says have reached ordinary families.
