The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab staged a state wide protest against the dictatorship of the BJP, their misuse of central agencies and for keeping Arvind Kejriwal in jail in a false case.
The AAP leaders said that agencies don’t have any proof of any scam against Arvind Kejriwal or any AAP leader but they are keeping them in jail. They said that Arvind Kejriwal is a political prisoner and they demanded his immediate release.
Thousands of people gathered in a state level protest organised against the arrest and continued mistreatment of the AAP National Convenor & Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal near Gurudwara Sri Amb Sahib, Mohali.
AAP cabinet ministers, MLAs, party’s office bearers and workers joined this protest in large numbers. AAP Punjab general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat convened the stage and strongly criticised the Modi government for their unconstitutional and undemocratic actions against Arvind Kejriwal.
BJP knows only Arvind Kejriwal and AAP can take on them, so they are keeping our leader in jail because they are scared: Minister Brahm Shanker Jimpa
Addressing the gathering during the protest, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shanker Jimpa said that ED and CBI are being misused blatantly. After the Gujarat elections, the BJP understood that if anyone can give tough competition to them, it is Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party. He added that the AAP has done revolutionary work in the field of education and health in Delhi and Punjab.
The word was spreading in the entire country, so the BJP got scared and started arresting the AAP leaders under a false case. The truth never gets scared and the truth cannot be suppressed for long. The witnesses in this case had directly given money to the BJP. Arvind Kejriwal got bail from session court and then he was about to get bail from the Supreme Court then the CBI wrongfully arrested him.

Minister Lalji Singh Bhullar said that today we all have gathered in support of our beloved leader Arvind Kejriwal and the INDIA alliance is staging such protests nationwide to oppose the misuse of central agencies.
First, ED put Arvind Kejriwal in jail in a false case and when Modi and Amit Shah came to know that he had gotten bail, then CBI filed another case and stopped Arvind Kejriwal ji’s bail. If there had been any scam, then the agencies would have found some money or money trail, but the agencies did not get even ₹1 because there was no corruption or scam.
Bhullar added that First Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was arrested, then Delhi’s three-time Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested. The reason for arresting him was that the BJP knew that if Arvind Kejriwal continues to campaign, the INDIA Alliance government is sure to be formed in the country. Earlier, the BJP people used to give the slogan of crossing 400, but their party got only 240 seats. If Kejriwal had campaigned, they would not have even won 140 seats.

Minister Balkar Singh said that Arvind Kejriwal, the convener of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Chief Minister of Delhi, who was an IRS officer before coming to politics. Arvind Kejriwal sacrificed everything for the people.
Today, there is a wave of Arvind Kejriwal. He is a vision and an idea, his popularity scares the BJP, so they lodged a false case against him and locked him in jail to stop him. They arrested Arvind Kejriwal just before the elections. Arvind Kejriwal, who raised this voice for our democracy, has been put in jail and this is very condemnable.

Minister Lalchand Kataruchakk said that in the end the power of the people and the truth always prevails. He said that many people like Babar, General Dyer etc. tried to stop the revolutionary people of Punjab but none of them succeeded. Today the people of Punjab are with Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP. He condemned the BJP for working against the democracy and the constitution and advised them to immediately release Arvind Kejriwal.

Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian said that this is the first time that the national convenor of a political party and the Chief Minister of a state has been put in jail without any proof against him.
The BJP is afraid that in the upcoming elections in many states, if Arvind Kejriwal comes out and campaigns, then all BJP candidates will lose their security deposits. He added that Arvind Kejriwal’s health is declining everyday but still he is kept in jail without needed medical attention.
All these things prove that if anyone can defeat Narendra Modi, it is Arvind Kejriwal. The people of India want to see Arvind Kejriwal as the Prime Minister of India in 2029. The AAP leader said that the people will punish the BJP for their dictatorship and soon the BJP will be wiped out of power.

Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the BJP is resorting to unconstitutional activities to settle political scores. They cannot defeat Arvind Kejriwal in elections so they put him in jail to stop him from campaigning.
He added that the people will give the BJP a resounding defeat in all the upcoming elections for their atrocities against Arvind Kejriwal. He said that he is the national convenor of a national political party, so keeping him in jail without any proof is undemocratic.

AAP Punjab working president Principal Budh Ram addressed the gathered people and said that the BJP is against the constitution and our democracy. They want to stop Arvind Kejriwal at any cost and to stop him the BJP government is misusing central agencies of our country. MLA Budh Ram strongly condemned the BJP for misusing central agencies and demanded the release of Arvind Kejriwal.
