Shiromani Akali Dal today exposed repeated lies being spread by AAP Government and its spokespersons and party dared it Chief Spokesman to either reply on issues raised by Akali Dal or else resign from his post.
Addressing a press conference here today, SAD Legal Cell Chairman Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler said that Akali Dal senior leader Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia has exposed lies of AAP government on excise policy as well on several other issues yesterday.
He said that instead of refuting facts being raised by Mr. Majithia, AAP Government and its Chief Spokesman started spreading lies about Akali Dal and hid reality of AAP government in its statement. He dared AAP government and its Spokesman to chose a common platform like Chandigarh Press Club to debate the issue before the public and the media.
He said that AAP government has failed to prove that documents shown by Akali Dal senior leader were fake in any manner. He also asked AAP government to present in public bail order of sand mafia kingpin Rakesh Chaudhary proving the latter had for bail from the high court.
The Akali Dal leader further said that the AAP government was repeatedly selling lies to Punjabis. He asked the AAP government whether farmers have got compensation Rs. 50 thousand per acre for crop loss due to heavy rains, hailstorm and flash winds in keeping with the Chief Minister’s announcement that farmers would get compensation before completion of girdawari.
He also asked the AAP government to deny that its leaders from Delhi including Cabinet Minister Arushi, one Saxena and Adil were not calling new channels to dictate terms to them. “They should deny that twitter handles of many journalists and Punjabi singers were blocked by the government,”.
The Akali leader said that it was most shameful to see that the government was always is in denial mode. He said that it had failed to order an enquiry into security withdrawal expose of Sidhu Moosewala leading to his murder by none other than those sitting in CMO. He said that police has admitted the fact that this conspiracy was hatched after security of slain singer was withdrawn.
Lashing out at AAP, Mr. Kler played audio and video tapes in which Bhagwant Mann can be seen hurling abuses at a journalist for questioning him. In another audio an AAP worker is listened saying that they followed wife of Congress leader Dalbir Goldy to abuse her. He said that what can Punjabis expect from such a party when Bhagwant Mann himself honoured that persons who followed wife of Dalbir Goldy with a robe of honour and a motorcycle.
SAD leader said that when AAP has realized its own lies had been exposed, it inducting a congress leader to nominate him as party nominee for Jalandhar bye poll. He said that AAP will have to answer each and every question of Punjabis as the latter have already made up their mind to teach it a lesson.
