The Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, visited Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, engaging in insightful discussions with Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor of PAU, and the university officers. The visit highlighted the university’s pivotal role in agricultural transformation and its commitment to innovation and societal welfare.
A formal felicitation ceremony was held in the Committee Room of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office to welcome the Hon’ble Governor and his officials. Dr. Gosal extended a warm reception, introducing the distinguished guest to the university’s achievements and ongoing initiatives.

He also informed the Governor about the university’s accolades, including the consecutive top rankings among India’s 75 agricultural universities by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2023 and 2024.
