The Punjab Government on Friday ordered the posting and transfer of three IAS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds.
The orders have been issued by Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha. The officers have been directed to join their new places of posting immediately.
Rishi Pal Singh, IAS (2014), presently serving as Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development for posting as Member Secretary, Punjab State Commission for Women.
Abhijeet Kaplish, IAS (2015), presently Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), has been posted as Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency, and will additionally serve as Director, Sports and Youth Services, relieving Mr Sakshamney, IAS, of the additional charge.
Sukhjeet Pal Singh, IAS (2018), presently Additional Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, and additionally Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare for posting as Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, in place of Rishi Pal Singh, IAS.
The order further states that the authorities concerned will make internal arrangements for disposal of the work of posts falling vacant as a result of these transfers.
