Prof. (Dr.) Paramjeet Singh, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and Technology (GZSCCET), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, has assumed charge as the university’s new Registrar.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, along with Deans, Directors and senior faculty members, welcomed Prof. Singh and conveyed their best wishes on his appointment.
Prof. Singh brings extensive academic, administrative and institutional experience to the new responsibility. During his association with MRSPTU, he has held several key positions, including Dean, Student Welfare, Culture Coordinator and Hostel Warden.
He has also gained considerable experience in the administration and management of both MRSPTU and GZSCCET. His background in teaching, institutional management and administration is expected to strengthen the university’s administrative functioning and contribute to a conducive academic environment.
The Vice Chancellor and senior faculty members expressed confidence that Prof. Singh’s experience, leadership and administrative expertise would contribute to the university’s continued growth, development and pursuit of academic excellence.
