Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group and Rajya Sabha MP, participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, joining a large gathering that highlighted patriotism, national unity and public participation.
The rally was flagged off by Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan in the presence of Union Ministers, Members of Parliament and other public representatives. Special biker groups, women bikers and personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces, including the CRPF, BSF and Assam Rifles, took part in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta described his participation as a privilege and said initiatives such as Har Ghar Tiranga were helping reinforce respect for India’s national symbols and heritage.
“Under the leadership and vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, a renewed national effort is underway to restore and reinforce the respect accorded to our national symbols and heritage,” he said.
Gupta also referred to the year-long commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram and the statutory protection accorded to the National Song, saying such initiatives were strengthening the place of national symbols in the collective consciousness of the country.
“The Tiranga represents our freedom, unity, sacrifice and national pride, while Vande Mataram embodies the spirit of our freedom struggle and our love for Maa Bharati,” he said.
He added that the initiatives serve as a reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the collective responsibility of citizens to contribute towards building a strong, united and Viksit Bharat.
The rally brought together participants from diverse sections of society under the Tricolour, reinforcing the message of unity, patriotism and Jan Bhagidari. The event also highlighted growing public participation in programmes celebrating India’s national identity, heritage and the sacrifices associated with the country’s freedom.
