The World Punjabi Organisation (WPO) hosted a special felicitation dinner in honour of Shri Sanjeev Arora ji, Hon’ble Minister of Industries & Commerce, Investment Promotion, Local Government & Power, Government of Punjab, yesterday evening at The Oberoi where he invited leading industrialists and entrepreneurs from Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad to the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit to be held in Mohali from 13–15 March.
The event was also graced by Sdr. Harpal Singh Cheema, Hon’ble Finance Minister of Punjab, and Sdr. Harjot Singh Bains, Hon’ble Education Minister of Punjab. The ceremony witnessed an impressive gathering of leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, builders, developers, hospitality leaders and distinguished WPO members.
Speaking on the occasion, WPO International President and Member of Parliament Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney lauded Shri Sanjeev Arora ji for his visionary leadership and tireless efforts in accelerating Punjab’s industrial and investment landscape. He also appreciated the proactive role of Sdr. Harpal Singh Cheema and Sdr. Harjot Singh Bains in strengthening fiscal governance, education and skill development—key pillars for sustainable industrial growth.
Dr. Sahney highlighted the state government’s progressive policies, investor-friendly ecosystem and renewed focus on global partnerships, expressing confidence that Punjab is poised to emerge as a preferred destination for domestic and international investment.
In his remarks, Shri Sanjeev Arora ji thanked Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney and the World Punjabi Organisation for the warm felicitation and their continued support in promoting Punjab’s industrial resurgence.
He emphasised that Punjab is entering a new phase of industrial expansion with progressive policies, improved infrastructure and dedicated facilitation for investors, and urged industry leaders to partner with the state in driving innovation, manufacturing growth and employment generation.
