CM Pilgrimage Bus Yatra Scheme – Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh Flags off 7th Bus

Under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Bus Yatra Scheme, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh today flagged off the 7th bus from Gurdwara Kalghidhar Sahib, Phase-4.

Speaking to journalists on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that after paying obeisance at Gurdwara Kalghidhar Sahib, the 7th pilgrimage bus under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Bus Yatra Scheme was flagged off today. He said the enthusiasm among devotees regarding the pilgrimage is truly remarkable, and it gives them great satisfaction and peace.

He added that, as everyone knows, during this two-night and three-day journey, devotees will visit and pay their respects at Sri Darbar Sahib, Shri Amritsar Sahib (Golden Temple), Durgiana Temple, Wagah Border, and Ram Tirath Valmiki Temple before returning.

He prayed to God to fulfill the wishes of all devotees participating in the pilgrimage and to grant more strength and power to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann so that he may continue serving the people with even greater dedication.

He further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party government has launched a ₹10 lakh Health Insurance Scheme for the convenience of the people of the state.

The process of issuing cards is progressing on a large scale across Punjab. He appealed to the people to remain patient, assuring that insurance cards will be issued to everyone above party lines so that maximum people can benefit from the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme.

He also mentioned that the Rasoi Ghar Scheme has been launched for the benefit of the people of Punjab, which will directly benefit 40 lakh families. Under this scheme, flour, pulses, soap, and essential household items will be delivered to their homes.

While interacting with journalists, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has almost fulfilled all the promises made in its election manifesto. He added that the guarantee of transferring ₹1,000 into the bank accounts of women in Punjab will also be approved in the upcoming budget.

He further said that to restore Punjab’s rich cultural heritage and make it a vibrant “Rangla Punjab” again, cultural fairs are being organized across the state. In addition, large-scale registration is underway for issuing health insurance cards.

To steer the youth away from the menace of drugs and keep them healthy, more than 3,500 stadiums are being constructed across the state, including 35 sports stadiums in the Mohali Assembly constituency alone.

MLA Kulwant Singh also said that for the first time, canal water has been delivered to the fields of ordinary farmers under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, whereas earlier it only reached the lands of affluent families.

Responding to media queries, he stated that the people of Punjab will decide in the next elections which party has worked the most for the state. He asserted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government has resolved long-pending issues of the people and ensured comprehensive development of Punjab.

On this occasion, State Awardee Phoolraj Singh (Constituency Coordinator), former councillor and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Gurmukh Singh Sohal, Amarjit Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Gurvinder Singh Pinky, Block President Sharanjit Kaur, Balwinder Singh, Gurdial Singh Dhillon, Sarabjit Singh, and Dayal Singh were also present.
