Social Media Influencer Honey Sethi Arrested in Khanna

Punjab Police have arrested Khanna-based social media influencer and footwear businessman Honey Sethi for alleged consumption of narcotic substances after his dope test reportedly returned positive.

Honey Sethi, arrested on Saturday night under the NDPS Act, was granted bail on Sunday morning in accordance with legal procedures.

According to police officials, the arrest was made under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act following medical confirmation indicating the consumption of prohibited substances.

Detained During Police Checking Near Doraha

As per available information, Honey Sethi was stopped by police during routine checking at a naka (checkpoint) in the Doraha area near Khanna. Acting on suspicion and prior inputs, police officials detained him for questioning.

He was subsequently taken to the Civil Hospital in Doraha, where a dope test was conducted. The medical examination reportedly confirmed the presence of narcotic substances in his system. Following this confirmation, police registered a case under the NDPS Act and arrested him in accordance with legal procedures.

Station House Officer (SHO) Akash Dutt of Doraha Police Station said the action was taken based on specific inputs and suspicion. He stated that after the medical report confirmed substance consumption, legal action was initiated and further investigation is ongoing.

Honey Sethi is known locally as a social media influencer and footwear businessman. He has remained active on social media platforms and has often attracted attention due to his online activities and public presence.

His arrest has become a topic of discussion in the area and on social media platforms.

Police Reiterate Strict Action Against Drug Abuse

Police officials reiterated that strict action is being taken against individuals involved in the use or abuse of narcotic substances. Authorities stated that the ongoing anti-drug campaign will continue and that violations of the NDPS Act will be dealt with firmly as per law.

Officials added that further investigation in the matter is underway.
