N.K. Sharma has announced the expansion of the Core Committee of the Industry and Trade Wing of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) by inducting five new members, with the aim of strengthening the organisation’s structure and outreach among business and industrial communities.
Sharing the information from the party’s headquarters on Wednesday, Sharma said that the committee has been enlarged to enhance coordination and promote effective engagement with traders and industrialists across Punjab.
The newly inducted members include Mohit Gupta from Bathinda, Bal Krishan Bali from Moga, Ashok Aneja from Jalalabad, Vinrajit Singh Khadyal from Sunam, and Bharat Bhushan “Tony” Jindal from Mandi Gobindgarh.
N.K. Sharma expressed confidence that the inclusion of these experienced leaders would further strengthen the wing and contribute to policy formulation and organisational growth. He added that the expanded core committee would play a key role in addressing the concerns of traders and industrial stakeholders and in promoting development-oriented initiatives.
Party leaders welcomed the move and said that the restructured committee would help in building stronger connections with the business community and boosting economic activities in the state.
