Member of Parliament from Sri Anandpur Sahib, Malvinder Singh Kang, met residents of Sector-124 to lend ear to long-pending issues related to the 200-foot road connecting various colonies and Sector-124 of Kharar City.
He also listened to the problems related to drinking water being faced by nearly 4,000 residents living around Budha Park in Sector-125 and directed the concerned officials on the spot to resolve the issue at the earliest.
The Lok Sabha MP participated in a children’s programme at the orphan and destitute school being run by the All India Relief Foundation in Sector-125 to encourage the children. He also visited the medical camp organized by the foundation. On the occasion, Foundation Chairman Mr Sidhu and Ms Ruchika Sharma welcomed MP Kang and briefed him about the social welfare activities being undertaken by the organization.
MP Kang also heard the grievances of residents of SBP Homes-3 located on Nijjar Road and instructed the concerned officials to resolve minor issues on the spot.
While reviewing the poor condition of the Kharar–Landran Road, he listened to the problems of residents of Shivalik City and other colonies located near the Dreamland Promoter office and issued directions for immediate remedial measures.
He assured that the condition of the Kharar–Landran Road would be improved at the earliest in coordination with the concerned departments so that the general public and commuters do not face inconvenience.
During these meetings, former Chairman Hakum Singh, Antar Singh Brar (Senior Advocate), Jatinder Rana (Senior Leader) and Harmeet Singh (In-charge, Malwa Education Zone) were specially present. Parminder Singh and Jaswinder Singh of Dreamland Promoter thanked MP Kang for taking out time to personally listen to the problems of the people.
