MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla today visited the residence of martyr Naib Subedar Pragat Singh, a resident of Ramdas town in the Ajnala Assembly constituency, who laid down his life while on duty in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. During the visit, MP Aujla expressed his deep condolences and shared the grief of the bereaved family, offering them strength and support in this difficult time.
Speaking with the family, MP Aujla said that nearly six members of martyr Pragat Singh’s family are serving in the Indian Armed Forces, which stands as a remarkable example of patriotism, dedication, and sacrifice for the nation.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla stated that he bows in respect before such families and feels proud that the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice is still alive among the youth of the country. He added that those who sacrifice their lives for the nation remain immortal in the hearts of the people.
He assured the family that he, along with the entire society, stands firmly with them in this hour of grief and that all possible assistance will always be extended.
