Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Thursday paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar, seeking divine blessings for peace, harmony, and the welfare of humanity.
After offering prayers at the holy shrine, the Speaker expressed his heartfelt wishes for Punjabis living across the globe, praying that Waheguru Ji bless them with happiness, good health, and prosperity in the New Year 2026. He said Sri Harmandir Sahib is a symbol of universal brotherhood, equality, and spiritual solace, inspiring people to live with compassion and humility.
Kultar Singh Sandhwan noted that the teachings of Sikh Gurus continue to guide society towards selfless service and collective well-being. He said the New Year should strengthen bonds of unity among Punjabis worldwide and reaffirm commitment towards peace, social justice, and inclusive progress.
