Sunil Jakhar, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, congratulated 10-year-old Sarvan Singh from Punjab on being honoured by the Hon’ble President for his exceptional courage displayed during Operation Sindoor, and said that this is a moment of pride for Punjab.
In a tweet issued in this regard, Sunil Jakhar wrote:
“Punjab’s 10-year-old Sarvan Singh has been awarded the National Child Award by the Hon’ble President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji, for the extraordinary courage he showed during Operation Sindoor.
This is a matter of immense pride for Punjab. I extend my best wishes to the child and salute his spirit of patriotism.”
State President Sunil Jakhar said that the sons of Punjab have always gone to the extent of sacrificing themselves for the nation’s borders. He said that young Sarvan Singh too kept this proud legacy of Punjab alive by helping the soldiers deployed near his home during Operation Sindoor.
