Ahead of the Tarn Taran by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues to deliver major blows to both the Akali Dal and the Congress, as several prominent leaders and workers from both parties joined AAP on Friday.

The joining took place in the presence of AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, State Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, and Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia. The AAP leaders warmly welcomed all the new members into the party. Those who joined the party included Jaspal Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Amarjit Kaur, Rajvir Kaur, Jaswant Singh, Maghar Singh, Mahinder Kaur, Harjinder Singh, Sonia, Amanpreet Kaur, Paramjit Kaur, Baljit Singh, Rajinder Singh, Manjinder Kaur, Bakhshish Singh, Anita Sharma, Parminder Kaur, Rita, Maya, and Komal.

On this occasion, Sherry Kalsi said that during the regimes of the Akali Dal and the Congress, Punjab witnessed an era of false cases, drugs, and corruption. However, the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government has prioritized truth, honesty, and development. He said that through the Mann government’s anti-drug measures, many youngsters have been rescued from the clutches of drug addiction.

He further added that the Bhagwant Mann government has made historic efforts to improve the standard of living of women, which has significantly increased their faith and inclination towards the Aam Aadmi Party.

The AAP leaders appealed to the people of Tarn Taran to ensure a resounding victory for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu so that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s mission of development and honesty can be further strengthened.
