The Pride of Bengal Awards, a prestigious initiative organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Young Leaders Forum has stood as a strong testament to Bengal’s rich legacy of excellence across multiple fields.
This distinguished event aims to recognize and honor remarkable individuals from Bengal who have made significant contributions in diverse sectors including Defense, Education, Business, Media, Sports, Food, Fashion, Art, and Social Welfare.
Since its inception, the awards have celebrated those who have not only excelled in their respective domains but have also created an indelible mark on national and global landscapes, bringing pride and recognition to their Bengali heritage.
The most recent ceremony, held on April 26, in Kolkata, the City of Joy, witnessed an impressive constellation of achievers being felicitated across 13 distinct categories.
The ceremony’s grandeur was further elevated by the presence of celebrated personalities including Mouni Roy, who was felicitated with the ‘Most Talented Actress’ honour at the ceremony, for her continuous contribution and many achievements in the field of cinema. Mouni, who looked her stunning self as she donned a pretty white and gold saree, humbly thanked one and all for the honour.
Also in attendance at one of the biggest events in the city, were Rahul Bose, Mamata Shankar, Lisa Ray, Sabyasachi, Nyra Banerjee, Pritam Da, Ash King, Indraneil Sengupta, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Tilottama Shome, among others.
What began as an ambitious initiative has now evolved into one of Kolkata’s most anticipated annual events, with the inaugural edition receiving massive success and extensive media coverage.
