In a proud moment for Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and Technology, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, 9 students from the B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Textile Engineering have successfully secured placements with the renowned Trident Group.
These talented students have been offered an impressive package of 12 lakh per annum through campus placements, reflecting both their academic dedication and the quality of MRSPTU’s training programs.
The selected candidates include Udhav Sharma, Neha Goyal, Lakhshay Bansal, Abhay Kumar, Aarush Goyal, and Pehu Verma from B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering; Sourav Verma and Mohit Sharma from B.Tech Electrical Engineering; and Gursimran Singh from B.Tech Textile Engineering. All of these students are currently pursuing their degrees at the Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering & Technology, Bathinda.
Expressing his happiness and pride in this achievement, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal, Vice Chancellor of MRSPTU, remarked, “This placement is a testament to the hard work of our students and the focused efforts of our Training and Placement Department and Corporate Resource Center (CRC).

Dr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, Campus Director, and Er. Harjot Singh Sidhu, Director of Training and Placement, echoed the Vice Chancellor’s sentiments, expressing pride in the university’s ability to attract prestigious firms like Trident Group to campus. Corporate Resource Center’s Professor Incharge Dr. Rajesh Gupta and Er.
