Today, under the leadership of Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjit Singh Jhinjer, a delegation of Youth Akali Dal visited Sri Akal Takht Sahib and submitted a request letter along with a pen drive to the secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, addressed to Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh Ji.
The pen drive contains evidence against leaders Prem Singh Chandumajra and Bibi Jagir Kaur, proving their false statements made during the December 2 hearing at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The delegation has requested strict action against them for their grave misconduct.
During the December 2 hearing, Prem Singh Chandumajra had denied ever supporting the pardon granted to Ram Rahim. However, Sarabjit Jhinjer submitted a video clip of Chandumajra’s interview with a private channel, where he is clearly seen supporting the pardon and respectfully referring to Ram Rahim as “Ji.”
Similarly, Bibi Jagir Kaur also made false claims before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Jhinjer presented a video as evidence, showing her support for the pardon of Ram Rahim.
The Youth Akali Dal President stated that the pen drive and request letter were handed over to Sri Akal Takht Sahib’s duty manager Narinder Singh. He expressed hope that strict action would soon be taken against Prem Singh Chandumajra and Bibi Jagir Kaur for their betrayal of the Panth.
The delegation included Youth Akali Dal core committee members Advocate Raj Kamal Singh, Kuldeep Singh Tandi, Sultan Singh, along with Youth President of Tarn Taran district, Jagjit Singh Jaggi Chola, Kapurthala district President Tanveer Singh Dhaliwal, and other youth leaders.EOM
