The Shiromani Akali Dal and the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) have challenged the Congress party and Gandhi family to send Kamalnath, whom they have chosen as star campaigner for Delhi Assembly polls, to Delhi and the Sikh community will ensure that he cannot address even a single gathering in national capital.
In a statement released here today, the National Spokesman of the SAD and the DSGMC President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that it is shocking that Congress has chosen Kamalnath to rub salt on the wounds of Sikh community.
He said that all these years the Congress party particularly Gandhi family has succeeded in saving skin of Sajjan Kumar and other guilty but change of government has ensured justice is delivered to victims and Sajjan Kumar and several others have been sent to jail.
Mr. Sirsa said that by chosing Kamalnath for campaigning in Delhi polls, the Congress party has tried to sent two messages. He said that Congress wants to reassert that still considers itself as anti Sikh and considers Sikhs as its strong opponents.
He said that Congress has also admitted that 1984 Sikh Genocide was its planning and it executed the plan. It has further tried to convey that it will save skin of the guilty and bestow them will plum posts including Chief Minister, Ministers and others.
Mr. Sirsa said that we declare that we the Sikhs will not allow Kamalnath to address even a single gathering in the capital. He said that if Kamalnath is daring then he should try to address a gathering and Sikhs will tell him that they are least cared for his role as ‘gunda element’ and will teach him a lesson in these polls.
