When Kejriwal Govt’s Ambulance Service turned out to be ‘life-saving herb’ for farmer

Chandigarh, November 30, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
The Ambulance and essential medical services put in place by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the struggling farmers across the country, especially Punjab, who were stuck on the Delhi border, turned out to be a ‘life-saving herb’ for them, currently opposing the three draconian farm laws imposed by the Modi government at the Centre.

This came true when a 85-year-old farmer from Udhoke village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab sitting in dharna at the Kundli border developed severe chest pain yesterday evening (Sunday), prompting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers present there to immediately contact the ambulance service deployed by the Delhi government.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Delhi with the help ambulance staff. With timely help AAP volunteers and the medical staff on duty the life of the elderly man was saved.

AAP MLA from Tilak Nagar (Delhi) and in-charge, Punjab affairs, Punjab, on the occasion said that the Delhi government and the Aam Aadmi Party had been supporting the farmers’ causes from day one, fighting for their survival and livelihood.

Jarnail Singh further said that the Kejriwal government in Delhi, realizing its moral responsibility towards the farmers, had started a string of facilities, including medical teams, ambulances, langar, drinking water through tankers and makeshift toilets for the farmers in the Delhi area.

Jarnail Singh said that CM Arvind Kejriwal, had instructed the party leaders, MLAs and volunteers, to be present 24X7 for them.
