The West Bengal Government has ordered the transfers and postings of eight IAS officers in the state with immediate effect.
THE LIST
HK Dwivedi (1988-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Home.
Manoj Pant (1991-Batch IAS) has been made Principal Secretary, Finance with the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Land & Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department and Land Reforms Commissioner.
Kanwaljit Singh Cheema (1993-Batch IAS) has been posted as Principal Secretary, Tribal Development Department. Cheema has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Sundarban Affairs Department.
Prabhat Kumar Mishra (1993-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Water Resource Investigation and Development with the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department and Project Director, ADMI Project Department.
Rajesh Pandey (1995-Batch IAS) is to assume the charge of Principal Secretary, MSME and Textiles Department. Pandey has also been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department.
Rajesh Sinha (1997-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Secretary, Transport Department.
Santanu Basu (2000-Batch IAS) has been posted as Secretary, Information & Cultural Affairs Department with the additional charge of CMD, WBSEDCL.
Sumit Gupta (2009-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Executive Director, West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation. Gupta has also been handed over the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
