The Central Committee of the CPI (ML) New Democracy expresses its deep concern at the escalation of tension to the level of cross border attacks between India and Pakistan. War is against the interests of the common people of both India and Pakistan and will be especially devastating for the people living in the border states of both the countries.
We call on both the Govts that cross border attacks from both sides must be immediately stopped. There should be immediate de escalation of the tense situation. All issues should be resolved through dialogue. In this situation, we also reiterate our call for an impartial high level enquiry into the Pahalgam incident.
