Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann Thursday bemoaned that India’s hope for a Gold in the Paris Olympics, the country’s world-class wrestler Vinesh Phogat missed the historic moment of bagging a medal due to the callousness of the coaches and experts.
Interacting with media persons here, Mann emphasized that coaches and staff were duty-bound to maintain wrestlers’ weight under prescribed norms as they get hefty salaries from the public exchequer.
However, the Chief Minister added, that there was a serious lapse in this case, which has bruised the psyche of millions of sports lovers.
