A video clip showing an official in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag allegedly accepting a bribe went viral in the Kashmir Valley on Thursday, embarrassing the state government.
The official was identified as the executive officer of the Anantnag Municipal Council.
Though authorities who did not come forward to comment on the incident, sources said that the officer has been removed from his post and attached to his controlling office. (Agency)
