US based NRI Mr. Kirpal Singh Sihota, a resident of village Bara Pind, today registered massive win in the elections of NRI Sabha Punjab by trouncing his nearest rival Mr. Jasbir Singh by a margin of 160 votes.
The Presiding officer cum Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jasbir Singh announced the results for the poll, in the presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate Dr. Jai Inder Singh.
A total of 363 votes were casted by NRIs during the prestigious poll out of which Mr. Kirpal Singh Sihota got 260, Mr. Jasbir Singh Shergill got 100, Mr. Pritam Singh got two whereas one vote was rejected.
Returning officer handed over the certificate of the win to the victorious candidate at the office of the NRI Sabha.
