Government of India has issued letter seeking applications from all those voluntary organisations which are working for promotion of state languages included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution in legal field.
Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the state government stated that in pursuance of letter received from official languages wing of legislative department with a purpose to extend financial assistance, Languages wing of the legislative Branch has already sought applications from all voluntary organisations working for promotion of languages included in 8th Schedule of the Constitution.
This aforesaid financial assistance would be provided for the year 2019-20, and the last date for submitting applications for the same is September 15, 2019. For further information, department’s website www.lawmin.nic.in/olwing can be visited, the spokesperson added.
