Slough, UK, December 1, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, the first turbaned Sikh Member of Parliament from UK has come out in support of Indian farmers.

Dhesi, took to Twitter to express his solidarity with farmers who have been out on the roads to protest against the recently framed Agri-laws which they are terming as anti-farmer.

Dhesi tweeted some photographs of police brutality and the farmers serving food to cops who on the orders of their seniors had acted against the protestors.

His Tweet said, “It takes a special kind of people to feed those ordered to beat and suppress them. I stand with farmers of the #Punjab and other parts of India, including our family and friends, who are peacefully protesting against the encroaching privatization of #FarmersBill2020.

It is pertinent to mention here that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also come out in support of farmers and expressed concern for their cause.
