Two PAU scientists bag major research project from ICSSR

Two Professors, namely Dr Khushdeep Dharni, Professor, Business Management and Dr Rakesh Rathore, Assistant Professor, School of Business Studies, Punjab Agricultural University, have been awarded a major research project entitled “Relationship of Supply Chain Management and Venture Performance: A Study of Honey Bee Entrepreneurs of Punjab” by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.

Dr Dharni, Project Director for the research study, informed that the Supply Chain Management was an important determinant of venture performance and there was a pertinent need to assess the Supply Chain Management practices and skills of the honey bee entrepreneurs in Punjab.

There was an apparent need to carve out the knowledge solutions for ensuring the profitable growth of the ventures undertaken by honey bee entrepreneurs, he added.

Dr Shammi Kapoor, Registrar, PAU and Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; Dr AS Dhatt, Director of Research; Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication and Dr Ramandeep Singh, Director, School of Business Studies, congratulated the scientists for their achievement.
