Transfers of 22 IAS, 30 PCS put on hold yet again

The Punjab Government has put the transfers and postings of 22 IAS and 30 PCS officers on hold yet again in view of prevailing COVID situation.

It may be recalled that the state government had issued orders regarding transfers of 22 IAS and 30 PCS officers on 26th of May which were to take effect immediately.

However, on 27th May, the government issued another stating that the transfers will remain on hold and will take effect from 5th of June, 2021.

Now, the government has ordered that the transfers will continue to remain on hold and shall take effect from 20th of June, 2021.
