Kids of INNOKIDS – the Pre- Primary School of Innocent Hearts (GMT, Loharan, CJR and Royal World) celebrated Guruparv to mark the 550th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, while apprising children of its significance.
Students came dressed in traditional attire. The students did jaap of ‘Waheguru – Waheguru’ and recited ‘Mool Mantra’. The importance and meaning of “Kirat Kro, Naam Japo Te Vand Chako” was explained to the students. They were taught that Guru Granth Sahib ji is a secular holy book and preached all to rise above petty differences and weaknesses.
The students were motivated to follow the principles of Sh. Guru Nanak Dev ji mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib that “God is Omnipresent, Respect all religions.” in order to replace the darkness of negativity with the light of knowledge.
These activities connect the children with their culture. Incharges of INNOKIDS Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur (GMT), Mrs. Alka Arora (Loharan), Mrs. Nitika Kapoor (CJR) and Mrs. Pooja Rana (Royal World) congratulated the students on this occasion of Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji.
