Threat, Ransom Calls: Moga SSP says no need to panic, warns miscreants

Taking serious note of the incidents of intimidation of innocent and influential persons by non-social elements by making threatening phone calls, Senior Superintendent of Police Moga Mr Harmanbir Singh Gill has appealed to the victims not to get panic when the call comes, but immediately inform the Moga police.

Mr Gill said there were reports that some crooks and naughty people were trying to intimidate innocent and influential people by making threatening phone calls and demanding ransom from them. Moga police are constantly tracking down such people and they will soon be thrown behind bars.

Mr Gill said that District Police Moga was firmly guarding the lives and property of the people. He said that in case of any such call, SP (Crime) of District Moga Mr Jagatpreet Singh (9815481335) and DSP (Crime) Mr Jangjit Singh (9815800533) should be contacted immediately. He said that no anti-social elements would be allowed to raise their heads in district Moga.
