Tarun Chugh questions Gandhi family for support to Teesta Setalvad

Chandigarh, June 29, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said that AICC president Sonia Gandhi and other senior Congress leaders have been responsible for a false and malicious campaign against Sh Narendra Modi when he was chief minister of Gujarat.

Chugh said the Supreme Court’s recent verdict in which it rejected the petition of Zakia Jafri and Teesta Setalvad was a slap on the faces of all those who have been trying to keep the pot boiling against Sh Modi on the basis of the 2002 violent incidents.

The anti-Modi vicious campaign led by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi fell flat in the face of the findings of the Supreme Court appointed SIT’s findings which had established that there was no conspiracy in it.

Teesta has been a front face of the anti-Modi campaign planned and orchestrated by the Gandhi family to spread communal hatred all around.

Chugh questioned the Congress if it had faith in the Supreme Court and said Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh had already expressed his reservations on the Supreme Court verdict which has made the records straight in the entire case.

Chugh asked why the Congress has been in the habit of rejecting the verdicts of the Supreme court and other courts from time. Do they have no faith in the country’s judicial system?

Chugh also asked the Gandhi family if it would tender a public apology for giving Padma Shri to Teesta Setalvad after the Supreme Court has clearly said that she tried to cook up evidence on the basis of fake evidence. And also why Teesta was made a member of the Central Advisory Board of Education and why was she given Rs 1.40 crores by the UPA government for her controversial NGO ?
