Sunny Deol must switch from ‘reel life’ to ‘real life’, Sukhjinder Randhawa says ‘raise dhai kilo ka haath’ in favour of farmers

Chandigarh, November 12, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
Taking strong exception to the remarks made by the Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol with regard to the ongoing farmers agitation, the Cabinet Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa today said that the filmstar turned politician to step into ‘Real’ from ‘Reel Life’and further advised him to raise his ‘Dhaai Kilo Ka Haath’ in favour of the beleaguered farmers of Punjab.

In a press communiqué here today, S. Randhawa said that the so called son of the soil Sunny Deol has woken up from his long slumber after the draconian farm laws have been enacted into a law and its been five months since the farmers have been on the agitational path, but still the BJP MP is parroting the line of the Central Government instead of venturing out in support of the farmers which are the backbone of Punjab’s as well as country’s economy.

The Cabinet Minister further divulged that the MP has stabbed the people of his constituency especially the farmers/labourers/arhtiyas who had reposed greath faith in him by sending him as their voice to the parliament.

It is common knowledge that the agitation of farmers is against the black laws but Sunny Deol in a desperate bid to please his political bosses, has pinned the blame on the State Government for the agitation which has proved in ample measure that he is only good at mouthing pre-written dialogues, said S. Randhawa.

Disclosing more, the Minister said that it would have been prudent that Sunny Deol, who so loudly professes to be the son of a farmer, would have been the voice of Punjab farmers and stood by them who are time and again insulted by the Union Government.

How can he have the moral authority to advise the farmers whereas in times of need he abandoned Gurdaspur and chose to live in comfort in Mumbai, revealed S. Randhawa adding that if Sunny Deol is genuinely concerned about the farmers of Punjab then he should make a strong case before the Union Government in New Delhi to repeal the black laws as well as end the undeclared economic blockade.
