Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President Sunil Jakhar has condoled the sad passing away of Flying Sikh Padam Shri Milkha Singh Ji (91) who breathed his last at PGIMER yesterday.
In his condolence message, Jakhar said that the legendary Olympian’s life journey will always be a guiding light for young and budding sportsmen across the globe. The world had lost a superstar, Jakhar said adding that with his demise not only his immediate family but the the whole country has suffered an irreparable loss.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, he prayed to the Almighty to grant strength and resilience to them to bear this huge loss.
