The Covid-19 Sunday sharpened its attack in Punjab. Four deaths were reported. The state reported over 250 new cases today.
Two women lost their lives today in Ludhiana. One succumbed to Corona in Patiala and one in Tarn Taran.
A woman who died in Ludhiana today belonged to Muktsar Sahib. This 65 years old woman was undergoing treatment in DMC, Ludhiana. This is the first Corona death in Muktsar.
With 4 deaths reported today, the death toll in the state has climbed to 166. The number of positive cases now comes to 6361.
Till now 25 people have lost their lives to Corona in Ludhiana. 10 people have lost their lives in Patiala while 5 people have died in Tarn Taran.
As far as positive cases are concerned, 84 cases were reported in Ludhiana only. The number including 26 cases from Ludhiana jail which has stunned the administration like anything.
Jalandhar also reported a huge number. 71 new cases were reported today. Patiala came up with 26, Mohali 16 and Ferozepur 11 new positive cases. Faridkot reported 8 new cases, Sangrur 6 and Gurdaspur recorded 5 new positive cases.
Pathankot, Moga and Bathinda reported 4 cases each while Fazilka, Mansa, Tarn Taran and Fatehgarh Sahib districts reported one case each.
