Sumeetpal Singh, a resident of Jalandhar, has brought glory to Punjab by securing first place in a bodybuilding competition held in the Australian state of Tasmania. He made history by becoming the first Sikh youth to win the title of ‘Mr. Launceston Tasmania’ during the event held in the state capital, Hobart.
Speaking from Tasmania, Sumeetpal shared that his next goal is to win the national championship and earn a Pro Card. He clinched three gold medals and emerged as the overall winner in the competition.
Sumeetpal expressed immense pride in being the first Sikh Sardar to win this prestigious title. He credited his success to strict discipline, especially in diet and lifestyle, which played a crucial role in his preparation. He also mentioned that the competition helped him grow more focused, calm, and composed.
He has dedicated this achievement to his late father, Kuldeep Singh, who passed away a few years ago. His mother, Jasbir Kaur, who resides in Model House, Jalandhar, congratulated her son on this remarkable victory and expressed her joy, saying that he has made Punjab proud.
