Sukhjinder Randhawa calls on Baba Sarbjot Singh Bedi, appeals Sant Samaj to guide about 550th Parkash Purab Celebrations

The Cooperation and Jail Minister, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa here today at Mansooran met the 16th generation descendant of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and eminent personality of Sant Samaj Baba Sarbjot Singh Bedi. The minister requested Baba Sarbjot Singh Bedi to take the lead in providing guidance during the 550th Parkash Purb celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Disclosing the details of the meeting, S. Randhawa said that the Punjab Government has chalked out a comprehensive roadmap for making the celebrations a memorable occasion and the guidance from Sant Samaj is being taken to celebrate the occasion in full accordance with the ‘Gurmaryada’. The minister further said that today he has come to make an appeal on behalf of the Chief Minister to Baba Bedi ji who has very kindly agreed.

S. Randhawa further added that it is indeed a matter of great pride and fortune for us all to have gotten the chance to celebrate the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the Punjab Government is sparing no effort to turn the occasion into a memorable one. He also divulged that the ‘Sangat’ from both country and abroad is yearning to come for the celebrations.

Among other dignitaries of the Sant Samaj present on the occasion included Bhai Gurpreet Singh Randhawa, Sant Gurmeet Singh and Bhai Anmol Singh.
