Sukhbir Badal appoints Jagmeet Brar as Senior Vice President of SAD

SAD Chief and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today appointed former MP S. Jagmeet Singh Brar as Senior Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal.

Jagmeet Singh Brar and his brother Ripjit Singh Brar, a former MLA, had joined the SAD in presence of SAD patron Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and former Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

Brar joined SAD after his attempts to join Congress failed. He is being heavily criticized on social media for his decision to join SAD which he had been highly critical for nearly three decades.
