Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today released the list all important Working Committee of the party. It consists of 96 Members of Working Committee. Additionally, 20 senior leaders have been included as Special Invitees.
For the first time, 16 senior women leaders have been inducted into the party’s highest decision-making body. The committee also includes several young leaders. Due representation has been given to all sections of society.
In addition to the earlier announcement of 96 Members of Working Committee Mr Baldev Singh Khehra, senior leader from Phillaur has also been appointed as Member of Working Committee of the party taking the total to 97.
Mr Tajinder Singh Sanghreri a senior leader from Sangrur & Principal Ranjit Singh from Ludhiana have also been added as Special Invitees of the Working Committee of SAD by the party President. With this the total number of Special Invitees becomes 22.
