Sri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital, Mehta Road, Sri Amritsar has continued pioneering excellence in Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Surgeries.
The highly skilled surgical team of renowned Ortho surgeons including, Dr. Raj Kumar Aggarwal, Dr. Gagan Khanna, Dr. Rohit Sharma, Dr. Rajan Sharma, Dr. Chandan Jasrotia, Dr. Chander Mohan Singh, Dr. Manpreet Singh from SGRD and alongside Dr. Vivek Sood, Dr. Gurpal Bhullar, Dr. Daljit Saluja, Dr. Mohit Narang, and Dr. Kiran Patel from the USA, has triumphantly conducted a series of complimentary total knee replacement surgeries.
Dr. Aggarwal, the Head of the Department of Orthopedics, highlighted the collaborative effort between SGRD Charitable Hospital and the Medical Volunteer Team from Operations International USA in organizing a free Total Knee Replacement Surgery camp.
He said the collective expertise and dedication to advancing orthopedic care have not only transformed the lives of numerous patients but also set a benchmark in the field of surgical excellence.
He said this remarkable achievement underscores the commitment of SGRD to provide high-quality healthcare, ensuring that individuals suffering from debilitating knee conditions can regain mobility and improve their quality of life without the burden of financial constraints.
He said SGRD Hospital took on the complete financial responsibility for the imported implants provided by Smith & Nephew, which were graciously donated by Operations International, USA. He further said that in addition to covering the cost of these essential implants, the hospital also absorbed all expenses related to the patient’s hospital stay, the surgical procedure and the necessary medications.
Dr. A.P. Singh, the Dean of SGRD University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the dedicated team of doctors in the Orthopedics Department for their exceptional work in conducting the surgeries.
He emphasized that the Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Camp was a remarkable success, largely due to the outstanding collaboration with the team from Operational International, USA, led by Dr. Vivek Sood.
