The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President and National Spokesman of the Shiromani Akali Dal Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today said that the charge sheet filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Behbal Kalan firing case has exposed the politics being played by the Congress party using the name of Guru Granth Sahib ji.

He said that after attacking Sri Darbar Sahib, demolishing Sri Akal Takht Sahib and executing massacre of Sikhs in Delhi and other parts of the country by the Congress party now the Congress Government had formed a SIT to defame Sri Akal Takht Sahib Supreme power of Sikhs and also tarnish the image of the SAD and its leadership.
Mr. Sirsa said that after doing politics over the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in last two years, finally the SIT was forced to disclose truth in the court. He said that the charge sheet filed and clearly blamed the then SSP Charanjit Sharma and other police officials. He said that when the Naib Tehsildar Pritpal Singh who was present on the spot as Duty Magistrate was not informed and no permission was taken from him for firing, then how can the Government be blamed for the firing incident.

He said that now the Congress party and its plans have been fully exposed.
Talking about the decision of the Centre Government to abolish black list in Indian Missions abroad, Mr. Sirsa said that this decision will help the Sikhs settled abroad to get Passports, Visas and other Consular services after implementation of the decision. He said that the SAD Patron S. Parkash Singh Badal, its President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Cabinet Minister Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal and the DSGMC were pursuing the matter since long. He said that now the remaining 58 names of Sikhs have been removed from the Black List and lists maintained by the Indian Missions abroad will be abolished.
