Today, constituency MLA and former Cabinet Minister of Punjab, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, extended greetings on behalf of all party volunteers and leaders of the Ajnala constituency to Chief Minister Punjab, Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann, on his birthday.
On the occasion of Sangrand, Mr. Dhaliwal, along with party volunteer leader Mr. Lovekarn Singh Bhakha from Ajnala, participated in the Bhog ceremony of the Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji organized at the holy place of great saint Baba Jawand Singh Ji at Gurdwara Sant Sar Sahib, Airport Rajasansi. He prayed for the long life, good health, and continued progress of Chief Minister Mr. Mann, as well as for the welfare and prosperity of the region.
Later, during a conversation, Mr. Dhaliwal said that with the approval of Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convener, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the party’s Punjab in-charge and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodia, has announced that for the upcoming 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann will be the party’s Chief Ministerial face, and that if the party secures a majority, Mr. Mann will once again be chosen as the Chief Minister. Mr. Dhaliwal welcomed this announcement.
He stated that Chief Minister Mr. Mann, by fulfilling his promises to flood-affected farmers and giving ₹20,000 per acre compensation even before the stipulated time, has made Punjab the top state in the country in terms of compensation disbursal.
Along with that, he has provided 600 units of free electricity to every consumer, established Aam Aadmi Clinics to deliver free and quality healthcare services to people at their doorsteps, offered ₹10 lakh free health insurance to 3 crore citizens of Punjab, ensured quality education, provided 56,000 jobs to unemployed youth based on merit and free from corruption, created a favorable environment for domestic and foreign business and industrial investment, eliminated long-standing red-tapism, maintained law and order, launched a war against drugs, curbed gangsterism and corruption, upheld the pride of Punjab, Punjabi, and Punjabiyat, and strengthened communal harmony and brotherhood in the state.
Mr. Dhaliwal said that within just three and a half years of his tenure, Chief Minister Mr. Mann has successfully fulfilled 99% of the election promises made during the 2022 elections. The only remaining promise—of providing ₹1,000 per month into the accounts of women—has already been assured by Mr. Mann to be fulfilled in the Budget Session scheduled for March 2026.
He further added that fulfilling the promises ahead of time has greatly boosted the morale of party leaders and volunteers, and that there is a wave of satisfaction and happiness among the people of Punjab regarding the Mann government. This clearly indicates that in the next term too, the government in Punjab will once again be formed under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann.
